  • Budget House offers free, confidential and non-judgmental one-on-one financial mentoring and group community education to the Taupō & Tūrangi region.

    Our financial mentors work alongside you and your whanau to empower you and provide guidance to help you get control of your money and plan for the future.

  • Budget House does not take your money off you or control how you use it.

  • Our service is free of charge. There is no cost for an appointment to see a financial mentor at Budget House.

  • Please bring your mobile phone to be able to access MyMSD and/or MyIR if applicable. Bring a payslip if are working. Also, bring along recent bank statements and any bills or statements from expenses or things you are paying for.

  • Usually, each one-on-one appointment is scheduled for 1 hour.

  • Yes, by arrangement.
