Budget house (Taupō Budget Advisory Service Inc) is a charity. Our Services are FREE and offered to anyone in need of support or guidance. We receive a portion of funding from the government and other community partners. Taupō Budget Advisory Service (TBAS), trading as Taupō Budget House and Turangi Budget House, is an Incorporated Society registered with the Charities Commission of New Zealand (CC23513).
As a member of FINCAP, TBAS adheres to its Code of Ethics. The organisation’s Constitution reflects a strong commitment to enhancing wellbeing, reducing poverty, and increasing financial knowledge and education through coaching, training, and mentoring services.
TBAS is governed by a Volunteer Governance Board of ten members, who meet ten times each year.
